Natasha Haverty is an independent journalist whose work has appeared on NPR's news magazines, Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting, HBO, and in The New York Times. She is a two-time recipient of the National Edward R. Murrow Award, and a three-time recipient of the Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Her investigations of criminal legal systems have sparked legislative change.

Natasha got her start at The Moth, where she managed their community storytelling workshops and helped launch the Peabody award-winning Moth Radio Hour. Natasha is one-half of the podcast We Are Not These People and is currently producing Mother is a Question.

Tasha’s given talks and led workshops including: investigative journalism for the ear (IRE trainings, Marquette University); the power of sound (St. Lawrence University, Rutgers University); and reporting in prisons (a workshop for journalists gathered from across the US at Blue Mountain Center).

She lives in Vermont.
